Dogs Love Them and They Serve a Purpose
These have been a win in our house because our dogs treat them like regular treats, which makes daily use easy. There’s no resistance or hesitation — they get excited for them just like any other reward. That alone makes consistency much easier compared to supplements that require mixing into food or convincing them to eat something new.It’s helpful knowing they’re formulated with pumpkin, digestive enzymes, and probiotics, so they’re serving a functional purpose while still being enjoyable. Major Difference in Smell and Scooting, Dog thinks it’s a Treat
We started using the Glandex Anal Gland Soft Chews for our Aussie who had an awful odor ALL THE TIME. We wanted something easy we could add into his normal routine, and these have been a game changer for us.The chews are easy to give, he takes them like they’re a treat which is nice. The bottle gives exact dosage per day. We were looking for a fiber based supplement, and this has a good blend of ingredients designed to help with healthy digestion and natural gland expression.In terms of results, we did notice a major improvement after about 1-2 weeks of using them consistently. We have now been using them for about 2 years and, when consistent, he experiences WAY less issues than we were dealing with pre-supplement. So, it’s not an overnight fix, but with regular use it seems to help maintain things and reduce how often we run into issues.Overall, it’s been a helpful supplement for our dog that was a super easy addition to his daily routine. We love that it’s more preventative and he aboslutely loves them. If your dog struggles with similar symptoms, this is a convenient option to try.

Fixed my dogs anal issue! No more scooting!
My poor little Frenchie was having a bad run of poops because I changed her diet. She ended up being sick over chicken. Long story short, I needed something to help. This worked almost immediately and she stopped scooting on her butt. 🙂

Dog loves them, no side effects, works a bit.
I gave this 4 stars because it helped a little, but didn’t completely solve the problem. My dog likes the chews, and didn’t have any reactions while he was on them, no side effects at all. They don’t smell bad and are easy to give to my dog. The small size is good. For me, it’s little too pricey though to have to keep ordering if it’s not helping to solve the problem.

Works wonders
We got these for our 3 basset hounds after our Vet had recommended them. We routinely take our dogs in for nail trims and anal gland expressions and they would always comment how “full” they were which explained the awful fishy smell at home. A few weeks after starting all our dogs on this, they’ve had zero fishy smells and no need for the anal gland expressions! Picking up the yard we can tell they are having much healthier bowel movements as well. Just wish they sold a “big dog” version of these as I have 3 dogs and each need 3 a day so one bottle only lasts about 2 weeks and it is pricey. Worth it for the furbabies though and highly recommend! Our dogs love it, they think its a nice little treat. We even crumble it up ontop of their food as a food topper when they have stubborn days and works wonders.

My lab mix is almost 12 yrs old and 90 plus pounds. He started having issues with his anal glands and infections. I added fiber, pumpkin, etc. These did nothing that I could tell. The Dr had him on 3 antibiotics and then was about to start on another when I got this supplement. For reference he was leaking blood out of his rear along with the gland drainage, and having small amounts of blood in his stools. It smelled horrible. After a few days or so of this supplement along with some pumpkin he finally stopped having the drainage and bloody stool. I was so happy, but I am sure he was happier. That can’t feel good. He’s my baby, so I will continue to buy this supplement and I would definitely recommend to anyone else having these issues.

These really help my 9kg 10-year-old cavachon who has her anal glands emptied by the vets, when I can’t get these advanced ones she becomes really snappy. She eats them like a treat. As they do help ease her poop, they are not a luxury, but something she needs. These are the only thing which works.
