Great lightweight beach blanket
This is a great beach blanket, very well designed. Really lightweight, durable, quick drying, easy to use, packs very small. Stakes are included, but we never use them since the corner pockets filled with sand are sufficient to hold the blanket in place. Folding instructions are also provided, but you can just stuff quickly the blanket into the attached pouch, and the overall fine wrinkles are not an issue — the blanket still looks very nice. The blanket is very thin, so there’s no extra “padding” (this is what keeps it super lightweight and quick drying), but it works great on soft sand, so it’s perfect for our use. (This is the first one I’ve bought, but we’ve used my son’s for years.)

Perfect!
First off, this thing is HUGE! I love that the side pockets fill with sand to keep from flying away and how easy it is to stuff back in and put away.. Its definitley machine wash safe (use cool water to prevent the material from getting messed up) and it doesn’t get that wet towel smell if being used multiple times during a trip.. It’s been camping and beaching LOL.. Would buy again when this one needs to be replaced.

Very light weight, soft, super easy to set up, arrived on time, price was great, and comes in it’s own bag with pegs. Sand didn’t transfer, nice bright colors, and no damage after wash.Highly recommend.

I’d use a moving blanket for park and beach trips, but not anymore! This lightweight blanket is SO awesome. It’s bigger; lighter; compact storage; it definitely repelled water and sand. Sand still gets everywhere, cause sand is sand… but it shakes off and cleans up so easily! The corner pockets help keep it from flying away, but they’re definitely not enough on their own to keep it still. It comes with stakes, but I’ve never tried those in sand. 🤷♀️ I had a pop up tent on top.My only issue is pretty minute. It doesn’t fold back up nicely when you’re on your own. It’s a two person job when there’s a constant breeze; BUT it does shove back into the bag to get it home to retry.I love my new beach addition. It worked great. I captured some of its magic, but I’m a terrible videographer.I haven’t used it at a park, so I’ve yet to find out if it keeps grass pokies from coming through.

Perfect for the beach!
Great size, great color, great quality. It feels kinda like a fitted sheet when you’re trying to fold it up, haha! But it repels sand and is comfortable, doesn’t get hot in the sun, and is durable. We had beach chairs on top of it- no holes!

Must have beach blanket!
The WEKAPO beach blanket is a must have for your next trip to the beach. Not only is it gorgeous, oversized and comfortable, but is sandproof & waterproof as well. The sand slides right off! It comes with stakes to secure it in place and a side pocket that you simply roll up the blanket and tuck inside for great storage. I washed it by itself in cool water just in case the colors bled, which it did not. Very satisfied & highly recommend!!

Blanket is large with pins at the end which are great for securing it into the sand. The downside is that the material is essentially plastic and stains very easily. Got a drop of sunscreen on the product and now there is a very noticeable stain permanently. The waterproofing also means that the water sits on top, so you need an additional towel to soak it up or else it says in small puddles in top.
