Great technology, effective, saves time and money. I’m happy.
These pads are incredibly absorbent, convenient, disposable, and have not leaked! This product is truly made to hold a great deal of fluid (12 cups) and the waterproof layer and the gel layer have worked in concert to help prevent leaks so that nothing reaches the floor. Not once. It’s impressive. There are 6 layers of protection working together to make this the best disposable pad I have ever used. The 3D gel technology that absorbs and swells to encase and secure all of the fluid is fantastic. That protection is worth $1 for each pad. The concern I have is that the promotional page messaging is not clear on how fast the pads wicks the moisture away from the top layer. It claims that it absorbs in 5 seconds and that it absorbs in nine seconds so that the surface feels dry.I love the adhesive strips near each corner that adheres to the floor or wall. It effectively keeps the pad in place. It has not left a residue on the floor. The test strips are worth the additional cost to monitor any changes in my pets health. Just stick the test strip to the pee pad anywhere you expect the pet to pee using the adhesive. Consult the enclosed color chart form to review the test results. For me, the peace of mind that can come from detecting a problem early is worth the extra $11 or so. My box only had two test strips though!This pad is a generous size for my small dog. She is 14 pounds and she relieves herself for several seconds at a time leaving a large puddle. She doesn’t overwhelm the pee pad and its layers with her flow. Her stream runs for 6-9 seconds and she can even overwhelm the reusable/washable pads. Several of them have leaked onto the floor and then I need to mop the floor. I wanted to get away from disposables completely, but these work so well and are very useful during our extreme temperatures or weather events. They don’t release her fluids on the edges or the bottom. The gel fencing and other technology seems to work like a really good diaper, and the absorbency makes these pads a very good value. It can remain on the floor longer to absorb more. As I said, I haven’t had a problem with these pads. Not once.She took to pad right away. So, I would say the scent that is designed to attract the pets has worked well on her. I didn’t need to do any prompting or use any sprays to lure her to it. I recommend them and I would order these again. Next time, I hope I get all of the strips I expect based on the advertisement.

High Absorbency but a Much Higher Price Tag
I ordered the made in China “ZOMISIA Puppy Pee Pads 26″x30″ 25-count” because I have a Saint Bernard in Stage 1 kidney failure and she occasionally needs to potty in the middle of the night, and she is great about using a pad in our basement utility room. I have used the big-box membership warehouse 100-pack of pads in the past, so that is my point of comparison.I found that they offer a different value proposition than the high-volume brands that come from the big-box membership warehouse. When comparing the two brands, the most immediate difference is the price per pad. While the warehouse pads usually cost around 20 cents each, the Zomisa pads can run over a dollar each, which is a significant jump in cost for daily use. The Zomisa features a design focused on higher liquid capacity and raised edges to prevent leaks. In terms of physical size, the Zomisa(26×30) are quite similar to the warehouse pads( 23″ x 30″), though these offer an extra three inches of width. The Zomisa seem a bit thicker when dry, and noticeably more swollen after use.The main benefit here is the absorbency, as the gel walls and higher capacity mean you may not have to change the pad as frequently, especially with larger dogs or heavy use. While the bulk value of a larger box from a warehouse club is hard to beat for most people, these are a solid option if you prioritize maximum absorbency per pad over the lowest possible price. I found the Zomisa did do a superior job of absorbing the urine from my Saint(when she aimed well and hit the pad) as compared to the warehouse brand. She only has “accidents” once every four to six weeks, as I’m very careful with getting her outside frequently. Another nice feature is that they actually have little sticky tabs on the back. I have cement floors where I place these so they really don’t do a lot of good. I think it would depend on the type of floor as to how much mileage you’re going to get, but nonetheless, it’s a super thoughtful idea that may help with some dogs but not all.If you chose to use these for a puppy, they might do really well over the course of a day because they really do hold a substantial volume of liquid. You can see in the photo the noticeable walls that run around the perimeter of the pad. There are three of them total to help trap urine. Again, a very clever and thoughtful design.So I will say that between the sticky tabs and the built-in walls, they are definitely clever and innovative compared to regular paths. Likely they aren’t durable enough to withstand a rambunctious puppy who wants to dig, run, or otherwise be rough on this (or any other) pad.Overall, I rate these at four stars because the price is a bit high, and I think they have are best used when there is a substantial amount of liquid to be absorbed, or the pet can use the pad multiple times to get the most value out of each pad.

highly absorbent; function is better than I hoped
These were very absorbent much more than the other pads I had been buying. I have two French bulldogs and these pads are great on days when I have to be gone to work for eight hours. They have little sticky tabs almost like a diaper that you can peel off and stick to the floor to keep them from shifting around. They are really good quality and have very good absorbency.. The thickness is great. These pads are well made and hold liquids well without any leaks. They come with a urine testing kit to check on your dog’s health. They have a barrier that goes around the whole pad to keep all liquids in. Because of the price I might use these only on days when I’m going to be gone most of the day otherwise I’ll probably use my cheaper pads that work good enough when I can let the dogs in and out. The other problem I had, and it might just be my floor, is the sticky corners actually stuck to the floor. I had trouble getting that off. However, again that could’ve just been my floor. I do recommend.

very absorbent
One thing I strongly dislike about most puppy pads, is when cleaning and picking them up, the leakage that comes at times. Thankfully, these puppy pads are NOT like that! They absorb so well, and when picking up to clean and replace there has been zero leakage from them. It absorbs and holds it all, which is so impressive. The pads are not even that thick.While they do not have a specific scent to them, they also hold the scent, if that makes sense. You do not smell puppy urine at all.I used these to potty train and they helped tremendously, im not sure what makes it easier for pup to learn with these vs other brands but these made it easy.
