A solid starter kit.
I picked up the Chemical Guys Car Detailing kit because I recently purchased a new car and need to replace most of my old detailing gear. The kit has a good variety of supplies and makes it easy to keep your ride clean. The one complaint is that the grit guard that came with the kit doesn’t fit flush to the bottom of the Chemical Guys bucket; it’s too big. The diameter is too large to allow it to sit flush against the bottom. I was really surprised that it was an issue, as both items are chemical guys branded items.What this tells me is the company is probably purchasing both items or one and have diffrent vendors who have thier on tooling and probably don’t make both items. This is a quality issue and should be addressed by the purchasing and engineering teams at the company. If you’re going to sell a grit guard with your bucket, it should fit correctly so that customers don’t have to struggle with getting it to work as designed.
