Good quick project for school aged kids
I thought this was a fun little project to do with my 6 year old neighbor. She enjoyed coloring and making the animals puff up with the water. I don’t think the second time will be as entertaining. One of the markers (red) was completely dry and didn’t work. The other colors were vibrant. No running of colors at all which means you should be careful using them because they are VERY waterproof. Don’t use with a little one that will color other places. Key chain was easy to attach which was a bonus. My one complaint is the finished product definitely lacks the sharpness shown in the product photos. The sponge cells break it up a bit. Still fun and worth the cost.

I gifted these and they were a big hit. Such a simple idea but something to keep little hands busy while being creative and building artistic skills and appreciation.I love kits like this. I think art kits are so much better than toys because the littles get to use their creative juices and enjoy their creations for a bit, and then, they can find their way into art heaven. Kids just have too many toys that they never play with.Big thumbs up from me.👍

Great Water Play Craft — Cute Animals & No Mess Coloring
We got the Animal Friends Color & Grow kit for my toddler and it’s been a really fun activity for quiet time. The set comes with adorable animal scenes that “grow” color when you add water — no markers, no paint trays, and very little mess. My child loves seeing the pictures magically fill in, and it keeps them engaged for quite a while.The paper is sturdy and didn’t tear easily, even with enthusiastic use. Drying time is quick, and the colors stay bright after they’re dry. It’s helped my toddler practice hand-eye coordination and patience.Just one thing — it’s easiest when we do it at the table because it needs a flat surface and a light hand with the water brush. Still, overall this has been a very positive craft for our 3-year-old.Would recommend for parents who want a low-mess, creative craft that doesn’t require paints or an iron.

This is a fantastic gift for kids ages 5–9 who love crafting. The kit comes with markers and can be used independently. It’s fun to watch the colors “come alive” as the puffs expand about ¾ inch. The colors stay vibrant after expanding, and the finished puffs can even be used on a keychain. Perfect for creative play!

What a pretty nifty idea for kids! We can take it anywhere and it’s easy to do. My 6 yr old asked my 16yr old to do it with her and they both enjoyed it. It was a perfect Easter basket gift!

What a clever idea for kids! Our kiddos instantly spent hours coloring their aqua puffs and were all too excited to water their creations and watch them grow. The markers are great quality, and I see them lasting the lifetime of this product. Skillmatics is quickly becoming our favorite crafting supplies for our littles, delivering quality and joy. I bought this as a present for my niece, and she loved it. It was super easy and fun to do. You are able to be creative with the colors you choose for them before you add the water to them. Once you add water to them they puff up to a good size. It makes for a great gift for kids.
