Ok, but not the solution I was looking for
Hmmm… I’m not quite sure how I feel about these cooling cloths. I used one for the first day today. Temps were in the late 90’s F with 50% humidity. I was outdoors from 12pm to 1:30pm. While it helped, I’m not sure it did anything special to keep me cool, per se. The evaporative effect with any cloth would have a similar effect. I like that it’s large and it’s good to use to wipe sweat off of my face. Is it a significant cooling solution for very hot days? I don’t think so. Is it better than nothing? Probably. It’s very well made, the fabric feels nice, thin, lightweight & will probably last a long time. the plastic package and carabiner is handy to store and carry it. The colors are very pretty! I love the green and pink best. I will continue to use it in the extreme heat when I’m out walking the dogs or during other physical activity.

Absolute Lifesaver in the Orlando Heat
These cooling towels worked amazingly well for keeping cool in the Orlando theme parks in June, total lifesaver! I was super impressed by how easy they are to use; just get them wet, and they stay nice and cool for hours. There were plenty of places to rewet them throughout the day, and now I’ve started taking them on hiking trips too. Great quality and value for a 4-pack!

It’s Just Polyester
This is a simple piece of very thin polyester that you soak, wring out, and then wear like a scarf or headpiece. There is nothing especially cooling about it except that it is wet, which can help you feel cooler and/or be used to wipe you face and neck. I used one on a short (30 min) run and it stayed wet/cool for about 15-20 of those minutes. Overall, I think you could get the same effect by buying a piece of polyester at a craft store.There is supposedly a carabiner hook so you can attach these to your workout bag or whatever, but there is no loop on the fabric where you can attach a carabiner.Overall, this is an ok product but somewhat expensive for what it is.

Really good! I have pretty bad heat intolerance and we have had a heat wave in the UK. found these so good at cooling me down! Actually had to move it after wearing from quite a while as I was getting a bit too cold! Great to lay over your shoulders, across your back, legs, around neck, even around your head. If you sit in front of a fan with it on its like the towel came out of the fridge. Slightly chemically smell but I’m super sensitive to smells. I washed them before use.Its only my first day using it, but have recommended it to a few people.

Wer in Physik aufgepasst hat, den sollte das nicht überraschen – sagt zumindest mein Mann.Ich gehöre zu denen, die offensichtlich im Unterricht Wichtigeres zu tun hatten, als zuzuhören ;-)Diese Kühltücher funktionieren wirklich. In den heißen Tagen im Jahr haben sie mir bestimmt schon so einige Male quasi das Leben gerettet. Auf der Arbeit habe ich ständig ein bis zwei Tücher griffbereit liegen.Kurz angefeuchtet und auf die heiße Haut gelegt, kann man binnen Sekunden schon spüren, wie sich die Stelle abkühlt. Anfangs habe ich das Tuch immer sofort wieder runter genommen und geschüttelt, weil es sich nicht mehr kalt anfühlte – das muss man gar nicht. Einfach liegen lassen – es wirkt schon.So lange, bis es fast trocken ist. Dann neu anfeuchten und weiter geht’s.Wenn es ganz furchtbar heiß ist und man nicht mal mehr in den Schlaf findet, ist dieses Tuch ein Segen.Logisch – es ist ein bisschen feucht – dafür aber kühl. Wenn man auf der Seite liegt und das Tuch in voller Länge nutzt, reicht der Effekt (zumindest bei mir) lässig zum entspannten Einschlafen.Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!
